Corporate Associate/Senior Solicitor 1PQE – 6PQE

Location: Oxford | Hybrid
Salary: £60K - £90K DOE + bonus

Overview

Join a top-tier national law firm and highly ranked Corporate team as a Corporate Associate. You’ll be joining a well-established and growing team in Oxford, working on a broad range of high-quality transactions for an impressive and varied client base, from successful local and regional businesses through to national and international corporates, investors, founders and management teams. This is a great opportunity for a 1–6 PQE Corporate Solicitor looking for quality work, strong partner exposure and genuine scope to develop their career within a growing team.

Responsibilities

  • As a Corporate solicitor you will work on a broad range of high-quality corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, venture capital, restructurings and reorganisations, advising an impressive mix of local and regional businesses, national and international corporates, founders, management teams and institutional investors, with particular exposure to the Tech and Health & Social Care sectors.
  • You will gain exposure to both UK and cross-border transactions, working closely with experienced partners and taking an active role throughout deals.
  • You will also have the opportunity to build client relationships and get involved in business development and the firm's growing Tech sector group.

Experience Required

  • 1-6 years post qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • Experience gained within a regional or national Corporate team.
  • Solid experience across M&A, with private equity and/or venture capital experience being advantageous.
  • Strong technical, drafting and communication skills, with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
  • Someone ambitious who is keen to develop their career, build client relationships and become increasingly involved in business development.
