Job Description
This role is with a leading UK manufacturer of high-end office furniture, working within the Sales function and reporting to the Group Sales Director. The role is London based and focused on the Corporate sector, maintaining and developing sales in line with agreed targets by managing existing accounts and identifying and winning new ones.
You will:
- Proactively manage an allocated portfolio of Corporate accounts through regular telephone, email, and site contact.
- Run reviews face to face or by phone to monitor contract performance and uncover further sales opportunities.
- Develop new business from a targeting list.
- Respond to requests for information, literature, and tenders.
- Produce clear, accurate quotations, briefs, and proposals.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations of new and existing products.
- Arrange delivery and return of demonstration stock.
- Keep accounts up to date on product developments.
- Represent the business at trade exhibitions and events.
- Negotiate terms of business including price, delivery, and specification.
- Actively promote the wider service portfolio covering installation, the service centre, ergonomics, and recycling.
- Work closely with Customer Services and the Quality Department to resolve customer complaints, including reports, photographs, and site visits where needed.
- Refer or share opportunities with the wider Sales Team.
- Monitor competitor and market developments and feed back to the Sales Management Team.
- Handle Corporate reporting and database management, submitting monthly and ad hoc reports.
- Run inductions for new dealer and customer accounts.

Requirements
- Proven B2B account management and new business development experience within the Corporate sector.
- A track record of delivering against agreed sales targets.
- Confident producing quotations, briefs, proposals, and tender responses to a professional standard.
- Strong presentation and product demonstration skills, in person and remotely.
- Commercial negotiation experience covering price, delivery, and specification.
- Willingness to travel, with regular customer site visits, exhibitions, and events.
- Well organized, with the discipline to manage reporting documentation, database records, and monthly reporting.
- A collaborative approach, working alongside Customer Services, Quality, and the wider Sales Team.
- Office furniture, interiors, or a related premium product background is an advantage.
- Full UK driving license.
