About Argenta Private Capital
Argenta Private Capital Limited (APCL) is a leading adviser to private and corporate capital at Lloyd’s, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, which advises over 480 clients underwriting £5.1bn of premium. APCL advises High Net Worth (“HNW”) and Ultra HNW individuals together with private offices on how to provide capital that supports underwriting at Lloyd’s and which syndicates to support. This participation allows them to benefit from the dynamic and profitable business of insurance that is an essential part of the world’s economy. The returns from underwriting tend not to be correlated with the returns from other investments making Lloyd’s attractive to those also seeking diversification within their investment portfolio. About The Role
Working closely with the Corporate Capital Team, you will assist with the administration of all types of corporate members of Lloyd’s, including new applicants and existing members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Establishment of Limited Liability vehicles and aligned/dedicated corporate members.
- Assisting with the administering the conversion of investors from unlimited to limited vehicles.
- Assisting with unregulated tasks on behalf of the Argenta Tax team, as reasonably required.
- Onboarding, restructuring and consolidation, including screening and Metro and Barclays Banks. Account opening for new corporate and other clients.
- Daily monitoring of all incoming payments to client broker accounts.
- Preparation and maintenance of corporate structure charts for members.
- Providing support with the Lloyd’s remediation exercise.
- Supporting Lloyd’s in the annual risk review process for high risk clients, referring to Group Risk and Compliance where required.
- Undertaking any other related duties as may be reasonably required.

Skills & Experience
- You are required to have some knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority and Anti Money Laundering regulations.
- Attention to detail and an interrogative approach to work.
- Able to deal competently with pressure and prioritise workloads.
- Capable of developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels.
- Competent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and standard IT applications.
