A well-established Top 100 law firm is looking for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its team in Stoke as a Senior Associate.

This role sits between the existing senior leadership and junior members of the team, making it a good opportunity for someone who wants greater responsibility, more autonomy, and a clear route towards a future Director position.

You will handle a varied caseload for a strong SME client base, covering both corporate and commercial work. There is a broad range of matters and transaction values, with plenty of scope to develop client relationships and get involved in business development.

The Role:

  • Manage your own varied Corporate & Commercial caseload
  • Advise limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, directors, and shareholders
  • Handle business sales, acquisitions, and M&A transactions
  • Advise on company restructures and corporate governance
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts
  • Provide strategic and practical advice to business clients
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
  • Contribute to business development and networking activity
  • Supervise and support paralegals, trainees, and junior lawyers
  • Work alongside the senior team and support the continued development of the department
  • Take responsibility for your own workload and work with a high degree of autonomy

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
