The Opportunity
A highly regarded and growing City law firm is looking for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Senior Solicitor to join its London team.
The firm acts for an impressive international client base, including Fortune Global 500 organisations and household-name businesses, as well as high-growth and entrepreneurial companies. The practice has a strong reputation for advising international businesses on their UK operations and delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
This is a genuinely broad Corporate & Commercial role, combining transactional corporate work with ongoing commercial contract support for established clients.
The Role
You will advise a sophisticated client base across a range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
Corporate
- M&A, acquisitions and disposals
- Investments and joint ventures
- Shareholder and investment arrangements
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- Corporate governance
- Funding and other strategic transactions

Commercial
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Supply, distribution and services agreements
- Technology and IT agreements
- Licensing arrangements
- Data protection and commercial privacy matters
- Terms and conditions and other day-to-day commercial work
A key element of the role will be servicing existing clients, developing trusted relationships and becoming a go-to adviser for their UK legal requirements.
You will have regular contact with senior stakeholders, in-house legal teams and business leaders and will be expected to provide practical advice aligned with their commercial objectives.
About You
We are looking for a solicitor with:
- Strong experience across both Corporate and Commercial law
- Solid M&A and/or investment experience
- Strong commercial contracts drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience advising established corporate clients
- Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness and judgement
- The ability to manage matters independently
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
