Media & Crisis Comms Manager
Talent Frame are working with a prestigious global law firm as they hire a Media & Crisis Comms Manager into their Corporate Communications team. This role involves handling global media relations, managing reputational risks, and delivering strategic corporate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Help shape and execute global strategies for media engagement, fostering relationships with journalists and external stakeholders.
- Provide counsel to senior leaders on media campaigns, high profile announcements, and thought leadership activities.
- Help design and implement policies, frameworks, and response protocols for crisis and issues management across regions.
- Be the point person for reputational threats, coordinating rapid response efforts and supporting high-stakes issues.
- Oversee the creation and publication of key corporate reports, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and regulatory teams to ensure communications comply with local legislation and standards.
- Monitor media coverage, analyse trends, and produce insights to inform executive decision-making.
- Build a global knowledge base of case studies, media contacts, and crisis response assets.
- Manage and support a team of two professionals within the centre of excellence, promoting professional growth and collaboration.

Person Specification
- Significant experience in media relations and crisis communications within a global organisation, ideally in professional services or regulated sectors.
- Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders and handle sensitive communications issues.
- Experience in producing or coordinating major corporate reports, such as annual reviews and sustainability disclosures.
- Deep understanding of international media landscapes and culturally sensitive communication strategies.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to public disclosures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Calm, solutions focused approach with sound judgement during crises.
- Analytical mindset to assess media narratives, risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
