Your new role
Are you a natural communicator who enjoys creating content that connects with people? We’re looking for a Corporate Communications Officer (Customer) who’s passionate about people and storytelling.
You’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced team that’s all about making a difference for our customers. Reporting to our Corporate Communications Manager, you’ll also work closely with colleagues across the business to help shape how we share updates with people who live in our communities.
The role is focused on creating relevant and engaging content, through a range of channels, to help keep our customers informed about our services and learn about ways they can get involved.
We’re looking for a creative thinker with communications experience, and someone who’s organised and open to new ideas. We want a team player who can build strong relationships with other departments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
