About the Role
The Corporate Counsel reviews and negotiates a wide range of agreements across all companies in the OAG corporate structure, keeping commercial deals moving at pace, with standard agreements currently turned around within a maximum of three days. Reporting to the Director of Legal, you will act as a trusted advisor to the sales organization and the wider business, striking a sensible, practical balance between legal risk and sound commercial judgment. You will also maintain corporate filings and registrations, support governance and insurance matters, and deputise for the Director of Legal when required. Success looks like contracts that close quickly and safely, clean and timely corporate filings, and commercial teams who are confident in the contracting process.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own commercial drafting end-to-end: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and amendments across the OAG group, working to fast turnaround targets for standard agreements.
- Negotiate supply chain and manufacturing agreements, and technology partnerships including revenue share and other non-standard commercial models.
- Develop and implement legal efficiencies that support and improve contracting processes across the business, including templates, playbooks, and guidelines when using AI-assisted contract review tooling.
- Seek continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility, recommend changes, and manage and lead on commercial or regulatory initiatives to ensure that implementation is successfully achieved.
- Deliver regular training on the sales and contract process for regional sales teams, including during onboarding and whenever Regional Sales Directors need it.
- Update Salesforce with agreed custom terms and conditions and help ensure signed agreements reach Legal and are filed in the contract management system.
- Manage, review, and submit corporate registrations, ensuring all documentation is submitted on time and without penalties.
- Support broader Legal department generalist work, including corporate governance compliance and insurance.
- Assist the Director of Legal and deputise in their absence as required.
- Be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and the executive team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
