About the Role
We're looking for a Corporate Development Associate to join our Group Corporate Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to support some of the most important strategic projects across Bupa, helping us identify opportunities for growth, build strategic partnerships, and assess potential acquisitions that support our long-term strategy.
As a Corporate Development Associate, you'll work closely with senior leaders and gain exposure to high-profile projects across our global business. You'll help provide strategic insight, carry out financial analysis, and support transactions from initial evaluation through to execution. It's a role that offers variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real impact in a business that exists to improve health around the world.

Key Responsibilities
As our Corporate Development Associate, you'll:
- Support strategic analysis and provide insights on corporate development activity to senior leaders.
- Help prepare briefing papers and presentations for senior management, including the CEO, CFO, and Group Corporate Development Director.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnership opportunities across the Group.
- Help evaluate and deliver strategic initiatives that support Bupa's growth ambitions.
- Carry out business valuation and financial analysis for potential investment opportunities.
- Assess the impact of potential opportunities on key business and financial measures.
- Support financial due diligence activity and coordinate wider due diligence workstreams.
- Work with teams across Bupa to support corporate development projects and transactions.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support additional projects and assignments as business needs evolve.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a commercially-minded Corporate Development Associate who can combine strong financial skills with clear communication and a collaborative approach.
Skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or a similar financial role.
- Experience in insurance or healthcare would be beneficial but isn't essential.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different parts of the business.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
- A highly organized and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
