Shift Pattern: Full time, Monday to Friday

We make health happen

At Bupa, we're helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. As a healthcare provider and insurer with no shareholders, our customers are our focus. That means we can invest in delivering better health outcomes, supporting our people and building a stronger future for the communities we serve.

We're looking for an experienced Corporate Development Manager to join our Group Corporate Development team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping Bupa's future growth strategy by leading mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities across our global business.

As a Corporate Development Manager, you'll work closely with senior leaders including the CEO, CFO and Group Directors. You'll help identify opportunities that create long-term value, lead the evaluation of potential acquisitions and partnerships, and manage transactions from the early stages through to completion.

This role offers exposure to board-level discussions, international stakeholders and high-profile projects. If you're looking for a position where you can combine strategic thinking, commercial insight and hands-on delivery, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities

As our Corporate Development Manager, you'll:

  • Provide strategic analysis and insights to support corporate development decisions across the Group.
  • Lead the preparation of briefing papers and recommendations for senior leaders, including the CEO, CFO and Group Directors.
  • Build strong relationships with external advisers, business units and group functions to support strategic objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investment activities.
  • Lead valuation analysis and assess the potential impact of opportunities on business performance.
  • Manage financial due diligence and coordinate wider due diligence activities.
  • Support oversight of corporate transactions led by business units across the Group.
  • Lead transaction workstreams and manage external advisers with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Coach and motivate Associate team members, helping them develop their skills and experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
