About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading PE-backed international technology and software business seeking a Corporate Development Manager to join its high-performing M&A team.

This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving strategic growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and broader corporate development initiatives. Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead financial due diligence activities across transactions while supporting the execution of a highly active acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Financial Due Diligence (FDD) activities across M&A transactions, acting as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Scope, coordinate, and execute due diligence processes, including quality of earnings analysis, working capital assessments, financial performance reviews, and integration readiness evaluations.
  • Identify and assess acquisition opportunities aligned with the organisation's strategic growth objectives.
  • Build valuation models, financial forecasts, and business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare investment committee and board materials, presenting key findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Manage cross-functional workstreams throughout due diligence, transaction execution, and integration planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, advisors, intermediaries, and industry contacts to generate acquisition opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
