Corporate Events & Marketing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Events & Marketing Specialist to join an international organisation within its corporate marketing and events function on a 6 month contract.
This is a contract opportunity for an experienced events professional who can take ownership of the planning and delivery of high-profile corporate events, conferences, sponsorship activity and brand initiatives across multiple markets.
Working with internal stakeholders, clients, partners and external suppliers, you will help deliver engaging, well-organised events that support wider commercial and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver corporate events, conferences, meetings and virtual experiences across domestic and international markets.
- Manage events from initial concept and venue sourcing through to delivery, stakeholder management and post-event evaluation.
- Measure event performance and produce post-event reports, identifying insights and recommendations for future activity.
- Manage event budgets across multiple currencies, including supplier negotiations, purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Ensure consistent application of corporate brand guidelines across physical and digital event materials.
- Source and coordinate premium promotional items and branded materials for events and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with venues, suppliers, industry bodies, partners and clients.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce invitations, promotional materials and other event assets.
- Manage attendee registration, guest lists and client information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy regulations.
- Research venues, emerging event formats, industry trends and best practices to enhance the event programme.
- Attend and represent the organisation at relevant industry events and conferences.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the wider corporate marketing and events function.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, often across different markets and time zones.

- 5+ years' experience in corporate, financial services or professional events and meeting management.
- Experience managing complex events, conferences and stakeholder programmes from concept through to completion.
- Strong project management, organisational and prioritisation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, negotiating supplier costs and overseeing contracts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience with event management, CRM and marketing platforms such as Cvent, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud or equivalent systems.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Events, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline is desirable.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel when required, including for venue visits and onsite event delivery. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.
