I am working with a renewables business with a focus on African projects to hire a Corporate Finance Associate.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Project Finance financial models; analyse key value drivers and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, ensuring consistency with project documentation, accounting standards, and tax principles.
- Conduct valuations and investment analyses to assess potential investment opportunities.
- Prepare reports, information memoranda, executive summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks, with a particular focus on Project Finance documentation.
- Participate in commercial and contractual negotiations with banks and financial institutions, under the guidance of the team lead.
- Contribute to strategy elaboration including through market studies, competitive analyses, and country risk assessments.

To be considered, you must have:

- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or private equity—ideally with a focus on energy infrastructure.
- Strong quantitative skills, with proven expertise in financial modelling and proficiency in VBA.
- Proactive, and eager to join a company with a strong entrepreneurial culture.
