About NHS Property Services
At NHS Property Services, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. Our People Strategy – Get, Grow and Keep Great People – is focused on building a values-driven culture where colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything we do.
At NHS Property Services, every decision we make helps support the delivery of healthcare across the country. We're looking for a Corporate Finance Business Partner on a 12-month FTC, to join us and play a key role in ensuring our resources are used effectively to maximise value and support our strategic ambitions. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll provide expert financial advice, challenge, and insight, helping shape business decisions, drive financial sustainability, and support the continued success of an organisation that enables the NHS to deliver care to millions of patients every year.
You'll partner with senior leaders across our corporate functions, providing strategic financial support that helps drive performance, manage risk, and deliver organisational priorities. From financial planning and forecasting to performance insight and business partnering, you'll play a key role in helping NHSPS achieve its ambitions.
Who you are
You're a qualified finance professional with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building trusted relationships. You enjoy turning complex financial information into clear, meaningful insight and are confident working with senior stakeholders across a large and diverse organisation. With a proactive mindset, you're equally comfortable shaping strategy, leading teams, and delivering operational excellence. Most importantly, you're motivated by using your expertise to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation that supports healthcare across the country.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
