Corporate Finance Director / Partner
£120,000 to £180,000 plus bonus
If you're boxed in, under-visible or ready for more influence, this is the kind of move that should be worth a conversation.
You’ve built relationships, won work and led deals.
Now you want a bigger platform behind you, and a genuine role in shaping growth in Birmingham. A growing advisory business is looking for a senior Corporate Finance hire who wants to play a visible role in building a stronger Birmingham presence.
This is not a maintenance role or a narrow execution seat. It is for someone who wants to be close to the market, visible with clients and genuinely involved in shaping growth.
You might already be operating at Partner level, or you might be a Director/Senior Director ready for a bigger mandate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
