Corporate Finance Director, Partner Track
£100k to £120k base, bonus and performance upside
Bristol does not need another safe pair of hands.
It needs someone who can walk into the office, lift the pace, win work, lead deals and help shape what the next version of the business looks like.
This is a founder-led corporate finance advisory firm with a strong Bristol heritage and a growing national platform. The business has real momentum, but the Bristol office now needs more senior commercial drive.
This is not a maintenance role. It is a genuine build opportunity for a Corporate Finance Director or Senior Director who wants a clear route to Partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The role will suit someone who can:
- Originate lower mid-market mandates
- Lead M&A transactions from start to finish
- Build trusted relationships with entrepreneurs, shareholders and management teams
- Bring energy, pace and leadership into the Bristol office
- Help develop a sector-led practice
- Support and raise the standard of the junior team
The deal focus is owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses, typically above £10m EV, with increasing activity in the £30m to £50m space.
There is a formal Partner track, direct access to the Founder and clear expectations around fee generation. No vague promises, but no politics or hidden process either.

The Candidate
You will probably be:
- A Corporate Finance Director, Senior Director or early Partner
- Strong in lower mid-market lead advisory
- Able to evidence personal origination
- Commercially sharp, proactive and credible
- Keen to build something rather than inherit a comfortable seat
- Visible in Bristol and comfortable leading from the front
It probably will not suit someone who wants a lifestyle move, a remote-first role, or a title before proving performance.
For the right person, this is a chance to help reset a key office, build a proper market presence and move towards Partner in a business where performance will be noticed.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
