Location: London / South East
Sector: Corporate Finance / Mid-Market M&A
Seniority: Manager / Senior Associate / early VP - 4–8+ years

ACL Partners is currently supporting a number of established and growing corporate finance and M&A advisory teams across the UK that are looking to strengthen their execution capabilities ahead of an active second half of the year.

We are interested in speaking with experienced Corporate Finance and M&A professionals who have developed strong transaction execution skills across sell-side, buy-side, fundraising or strategic advisory mandates. Relevant backgrounds may include independent M&A boutiques, mid-market investment banks, accountancy-led corporate finance teams, Big Four Deals practices or specialist sector advisory firms.

These opportunities are particularly suited to candidates who have progressed beyond pure analytical execution and are increasingly taking ownership of transactions, managing junior team members and developing direct client relationships.

Successful candidates will typically join lean, entrepreneurial teams where they can take significant responsibility for transaction execution while developing toward Director and Partner-level responsibilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
