Corporate Finance Manager
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits
Our client is a leading independent Corporate Finance firm with an established reputation for delivering high-quality M&A, fundraising, strategic advisory, and valuation services to ambitious owner-managed, private equity-backed, and entrepreneurial businesses across Wales and the UK.
Due to continued growth and an expanding pipeline, the business is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to play a key role in the execution and delivery of transactions while supporting the development of team members and contributing to the firm's ongoing growth.
The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Finance professional looking to take the next step within a highly respected advisory environment. You will gain exposure to a broad range of transactions, working directly with business owners, investors, lenders, and senior stakeholders across multiple sectors.
The successful individual will take ownership of transaction workstreams, lead day-to-day deal execution, and support Directors and Partners in originating and delivering high-quality advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage M&A transactions from initial preparation through to completion.
- Lead financial analysis, financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence activities.
- Prepare Information Memorandums, financial forecasts, management presentations, and buyer/investor materials.
- Coordinate transaction processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Manage relationships with clients, prospective investors, funding providers, and professional advisers.
- Support business development initiatives and assist in the generation of new deal opportunities.
- Undertake company and market research across a range of industries.
- Assist with fundraising, debt advisory, and strategic review assignments.
- Mentor and develop Analysts and Executives within the team.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm's Corporate Finance practice.

Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Lead Advisory, M&A, or Deal Advisory.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Experience supporting or managing acquisitions, disposals, management buy-outs, fundraising, or strategic transactions.
- Excellent analytical and report-writing capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SME and mid-market businesses.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach, and a genuine interest in working with entrepreneurial businesses.
