We’re looking for a commercially driven Lead Advisory Associate Director to play a key role in our expanding Corporate Finance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Working with Partners and Directors to lead and manage corporate finance transactions from inception to completion
  • Have the ability to lead certain transactions with partner/director oversight
  • Build strong relationships with clients, working predominantly on sell side transactions, with private equity exposure
  • Prepare information memoranda and review junior work on information memoranda
  • Manage the full due diligence process and be able to contribute to commercial / legal negotiation points
  • Prepare pitch documents and contribute to pitch meetings
  • Support the team’s ongoing growth, including beginning to identify relevant business opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Finance and the wider firm and group, begin to identify wider revenue generating referral opportunities
  • Manage junior resource, including assisting in their development, managing workflow and reviewing work
  • Manage research and analyse transactions and sector analysis
  • Prepare financial valuations and returns analysis
  • Have started to build a network of professional contacts

  • ACA or ACCA or CFQ qualification (or equivalent), ideally with first time passes
  • Strong financial analysis and Excel / PowerPoint skills
  • Confident in presenting and articulating findings
  • Several years’ experience in a lead advisory role and completed deals in the £5m to £50m EV range
