Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Rather than organising corporate finance purely around individual regions, the business takes a sector-led approach. It already has expertise within areas including professional services and parts of the built environment, but sees significant whitespace across the wider Business Services market. The priority is finding high-quality sector specialists who bring credible new routes to market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build corporate finance coverage across a complementary Business Services vertical where you have genuine sector authority.
  • Originate mandates through established relationships with corporates, investors and senior industry stakeholders.
  • Convert your network into opportunities spanning M&A and the wider advisory offering.
  • Work across UK and international teams, combining your sector expertise with complementary capabilities and relationships.

What You’ll Bring

  • Director, Managing Director or equivalent corporate finance experience with strong Business Services exposure.
  • Deep knowledge and senior relationships within a defined Business Services vertical.
  • A proven ability to originate meaningful revenue and develop long-term commercial relationships.
  • The judgement to identify broader client needs and create opportunities beyond individual M&A transactions.

Who This Suits

You’re a commercially minded dealmaker with genuine depth in your market and relationships that extend beyond individual transactions. You may be an established MD seeking greater scope or a Director with the network and track record to make the next move. You want the freedom to develop a sector proposition while working within a connected advisory platform.
