Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Its model is deliberately sector-led rather than regionally constrained. Specialists collaborate across offices and borders, bringing together sector expertise and local relationships to win and execute mandates. Importantly, commercial contribution extends beyond M&A - senior hires are encouraged to open opportunities across the wider advisory platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Expand TMT coverage, developing complementary sector depth within an already important market.
  • Originate corporate finance and wider advisory opportunities through senior industry relationships.
  • Lead high-value M&A engagements, bringing sector credibility from origination through execution.
  • Collaborate nationally and internationally to convert relationships into opportunities across multiple service lines.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong corporate finance experience at Director, Managing Director, or equivalent level.
  • Deep TMT expertise with a credible network of corporates, investors, and industry decision-makers.
  • Evidence of originating meaningful fee opportunities through long-term sector relationships.
  • Commercial range to identify opportunities beyond M&A and connect clients with wider advisory capabilities.

Who This Suits

You’re a sector-led corporate finance professional whose value comes from genuine market connectivity, not simply executing transactions. You may already be operating at MD level or be a high-performing Director ready for that step. Either way, you want a platform where you can build around your sector strengths and have broader commercial impact.
