Corporate Finance Partner (Lead Advisory)

Location: Hybrid & Northampton
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 basic + uncapped performance bonus (realistic OTE £80,000–£110,000+)

About the Opportunity

A growing, entrepreneurial corporate finance boutique is looking to appoint ambitious individuals who want to build a long-term career in lead advisory. Rather than operating in the traditional mid-market, the firm advises owner-managed businesses on transactions typically ranging from £2m–£20m.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and transactions far earlier than would be possible in many larger firms. Partners are trusted to lead deals from the outset, supported and mentored by experienced Directors, without unnecessary hierarchy or micromanagement.

The business is expanding and offers a genuine pathway to senior leadership, including the opportunity to establish and lead new regional offices.

Who We're Looking For

This role is intentionally open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Previous lead advisory experience is not essential.

You could be:

  • Working in Transaction Services and looking for a route into Lead Advisory that isn't available internally.
  • In a commercially-focused role within industry with exposure to acquisitions, disposals, due diligence or strategic projects and a genuine desire to move into corporate finance.
  • An entrepreneurial, commercially-minded professional with outstanding relationship-building skills and the motivation to forge a successful career in corporate finance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
