Corporate Finance Partner
£150-£200k plus bonus and wider Partner package

Take an established Midlands M&A team and turn it into a leading Birmingham Corporate Finance business.

The people, client base and origination infrastructure are already there. What is missing is the senior dealmaker who can bring it together and lead the next stage of growth.

There is already a five person M&A team, with plans to move the business from Solihull into Birmingham city centre.

Around them sits a growing, PE-backed accountancy and advisory group, an SME client base and strong internal referrals. The central research and origination capability alone is comparable to the support of another seven person regional team.

That changes the nature of the role. You can focus on building relationships, winning work and leading deals, rather than spending the first year recruiting an entire team or creating every opportunity yourself.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A portable book would help, but it is not essential. The team, client base, internal referrals and origination support are already there.

  • A move into Birmingham city centre
  • Significant research and origination support
  • An extensive owner-managed and SME client base
