Corporate Finance Executive / Assistant Manager / Manager Northampton | Hybrid | £55,000 + Uncapped Bonus (Realistic first year - £85,000)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and entrepreneurial Corporate Finance advisory team working on a diverse range of M&A, fundraising, valuation, and strategic advisory assignments across the UK mid-market. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Finance professional looking to accelerate their career within a high-performing advisory environment.

We are particularly interested in speaking with:

  • Qualified Corporate Finance professionals already working in advisory.
  • Qualified accountants (ACA) from Practice at Manager level or above with demonstrable Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or Deal Advisory experience.
  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA professionals from industry with strong commercial finance experience, ideally including M&A, acquisitions, business partnering, strategic finance, financial modelling, investment appraisal, or transaction support.

Candidates must have UK experience. Applicants with an audit-only background will not be suitable for this opportunity.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Corporate Finance Partners and Directors, you'll play a key role in delivering transactions from initial engagement through to successful completion. You'll gain direct client exposure and take ownership of a broad range of advisory assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial models, business plans, and information memoranda.
  • Supporting mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising mandates.
  • Producing company valuations and strategic financial analysis.
  • Delivering financial due diligence assignments.
  • Identifying acquisition targets, investors, and buyers through detailed market research.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, advisers, and key stakeholders.
  • Supporting clients with strategic growth, succession, and exit planning.

About You

You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with UK experience and a genuine interest in Corporate Finance.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or M&A; or
  • An ACA qualification gained in Practice, operating at Manager level or above with commercial transaction exposure; or
  • An ACCA or CIMA qualification gained in industry, with experience in commercial finance, strategic finance, business partnering, financial modelling, or transaction-related projects.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • The confidence to work directly with business owners, investors, and senior decision-makers.
  • A full UK driving licence.
