Since 1988, Everton in the Community has become a dynamic force for good, harnessing the unifying power of football to drive social change and addressing societal challenges across Liverpool City Region. Supported by a team of over 130 full-time staff and over 200 volunteers, the independently governed and independently financed charity offers an extensive array of more than 60 programmes and initiatives that tackle a diverse range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia, and disability.
Everton in the Community stands firmly beside the most at-risk and most in need members of its local communities, but the needs of the city are ever-growing and ever-evolving and the official charity of Everton Football Club is committed to helping as many people as possible.
About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Corporate Fundraiser to join our Fundraising team at Everton in the Community.
As Corporate Fundraiser you will play a central role in identifying, securing, and stewarding long term corporate partnerships across the region. This is a relationship driven role focused on building meaningful connections with businesses, promoting fundraising events and activities, and ensuring every partner feels valued, engaged, and inspired to support Everton in the Community.
While the primary focus is corporate fundraising, the role will also include supporting engagement with major donors and high value business owners as part of the wider income generation strategy.

Safeguarding
To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for:
Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has good knowledge and experience of the corporate, high net worth and individual donor giving landscape and proven experience of generating income from a variety of sources.
Other Skills, Knowledge and Experience includes:
- Knowledge of corporate social responsibility and how this translates to charitable income
- Experience in event, account and relationship management
- Experience of working in a target driven environment
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings
- Self-driven/self-motivated and creative in identifying opportunities
- Pro-active “can-do”, solution focussed approach to work
This role will be offered on a permanent basis working 35 hours per week and will be based across our Everton in the Community Campus.
