Job Introduction

As a Corporate Gifting Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in the department, managing B2B sales from end to end, onboarding new clients and supporting the department manager and brand specialist to manage the daily operation.

Customer service is at the heart of what you do, you will be an expert for all things Selfridges and the go-to person to help our customers. You are fully knowledgeable of everything about the store including the latest products, events and services that only Selfridges can offer.

As a Corporate Gifting Account Executive, you will…

  • Execute client orders to the highest standard, owning the sales cycle from end to end.
  • Educate new clients on the Corporate Gifting offer, explaining our services and the benefits of working with us.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring all KYC checks and due diligence is completed.
  • Manage the Corporate Gifting CRM database, ensuring all details are accurately entered and maintained in line with GDPR guidelines.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure needs are met and identifying opportunities for further sales.
  • Participate in team activities and meetings, supporting the senior team with business development and pitch decks.
  • Host clients in store and attend events as required.
  • Use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge of products and competitors.
  • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience by building rapport, sharing product knowledge and catering to customer needs.

A Bit About You

  • A great communicator. You will be able to positively engage with all types of customers (domestic and international) with varying needs and requirements and via multiple methods – telephone, email and in person professionally.
  • Well Informed. You will develop excellent product knowledge by following trends and being aware of our competitor’s activity, along with taking part in supplier training.
  • Known to be a sales and service expert. You’ll use these skills to deliver the extraordinary each and every time and take the initiative to provide additional services where appropriate.
  • Problem solving skills. You’ll go above and beyond to resolve issues for our customers and be able to adapt your approach to each individual customer.
  • Confident to work on your own as well as part of a team, ensuring tasks are prioritised accordingly and completed in a timely manner.
  • Flexible. Responsive to business needs, you are happy and comfortable to take responsibility for tasks that may go beyond the role expectation.
  • IT savvy, with extensive experience using Microsoft 365.
