Corporate Governance Assistant

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is seeking a Corporate Governance Assistant to provide high-quality governance and organisational support to our Executive Team and Company Secretariat function.

This is a key governance role supporting the effective operation of the Executive Team, Board and Committees. Working at the centre of the organisation's governance framework, you'll help ensure that governance processes are delivered to a high standard, decision-making is well supported, and governance information is effectively managed.

Working closely with senior leaders, Board and Committee members, and colleagues across the SRA, you'll coordinate governance activities, support the preparation and management of governance documentation, maintain governance records and contribute to the delivery of effective governance processes and systems.

What's in it for you

This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the SRA's governance framework, supporting the effective operation of the organisation's most senior decision-making bodies.

  • You'll develop close working relationships with Executive Team members, Board and Committee members and gain exposure to a wide range of strategic, operational and regulatory matters.
  • The breadth of the role means you'll be involved in all aspects of governance delivery, from supporting high-quality decision-making and maintaining governance records through to governance reporting, Board administration and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships across an organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
