Governing with Purpose: Corporate Governance Manager at Kingdom Group

We are recruiting a Corporate Governance Manager to lead our approach to governance, risk, compliance and Health & Safety across the whole of Kingdom Group. Reporting to the Governance, Risk & Performance Director, you will help design, plan and implement our corporate governance strategy, and lead service delivery across the department.

This is a temporary role until July 2027, with an anticipated start date of Monday 23 November 2026.

You will join an organisation where accountability and high standards run through everything we do, and where governance sits at the heart of how we deliver as One Kingdom for every customer we serve.

At Kingdom Group, we provide good quality, affordable homes and support services across Fife, Forth Valley and Clackmannanshire. Every role, including this one, helps us deliver on our vision of Great Homes, Services, People and Communities.

About the Role

As Corporate Governance Manager, you will:

  • Lead Group-wide corporate governance service delivery, covering governance, performance, risk, compliance and Health & Safety, ensuring every service meets the highest standards for our customers.
  • Develop and implement an effective Board reporting cycle and performance framework, providing executive support to Group Directors and helping ensure our governing bodies have the right skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee risk, Health & Safety and internal audit functions across the Group, preparing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, recruiting and managing colleagues while promoting accountability, results and a culture of continuous improvement across the department.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
