Corporate Insurance Associate – NQ-4 PQE London | Leading US Law Firm | NQ-4 PQE
A leading US law firm is looking to hire an Associate/Senior Associate at NQ–4 PQE for its highly regarded Corporate Insurance practice in London.
The team advises insurers, reinsurers, private equity sponsors, and other financial institutions on sophisticated corporate transactions across the insurance sector. The practice combines high-end transactional work with deep sector expertise and offers associates exposure to complex, cross-border matters from an early stage.
The Role
The successful candidate will work across a broad range of corporate insurance matters, including:
- M&A transactions involving insurers and other regulated businesses
- Private equity investments across the insurance sector
- Reinsurance and strategic transactions
- Portfolio acquisitions and disposals
- Joint ventures and other corporate arrangements
- Cross-border transactions involving UK, US, and international teams

The Candidate
The team is interested in lawyers from NQ through to 4 PQE with strong corporate transactional experience.
- Previous insurance-sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with a strong corporate/M&A background and a genuine interest in developing within the sector.
- Candidates should have:
- Excellent academics and technical training
- Experience of high-quality corporate transactions
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- A commercial and proactive approach
- An interest in sophisticated, international transactional work
