Corporate Insurance Associate: 2-4 PQE | London
A leading US law firm is looking to hire a Corporate Insurance lawyer (2-4 PQE) into its highly regarded London team.
The practice advises on sophisticated corporate transactions across the insurance sector, acting for a mix of insurers, reinsurers, financial sponsors, and other market participants on complex, often cross-border matters.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of work, including:
- M&A and strategic transactions in the insurance sector
- Private equity investments and exits involving insurance businesses
- Reinsurance and other strategic arrangements
- Corporate reorganisations and joint ventures
- Insurance-related regulatory issues arising in transactional matters

The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-4 years’ PQE gained at a leading City, international, or US firm
- Strong corporate/M&A experience, ideally with exposure to the insurance sector
- Excellent academics and technical skills
- Experience working on complex, cross-border transactions
- A commercial, proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
Prior insurance-sector experience would be advantageous, although strong corporate lawyers with a genuine interest in specialising in the sector are also encouraged to apply.
