The successful candidate will lead the corporate knowledge function, supporting lawyers advising on complex corporate transactions, including M&A, and wider corporate advisory matters. They will act as a senior technical resource on company law and corporate governance, ensuring lawyers have access to high-quality guidance, training and practical resources while keeping the practice ahead of important legal and regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an experienced corporate knowledge team.
- Track and interpret developments in company law and corporate governance, providing practical guidance to lawyers and clients.
- Oversee corporate precedents, guidance, training and thought leadership.
- Support senior lawyers on complex technical matters and relevant external industry initiatives.
- Improve how expertise is captured and shared across the firm's international corporate practice.
- Champion effective use of AI and legal technology within knowledge delivery.

This role would suit an established Corporate Knowledge Lawyer/PSL with 10+ years' PQE and substantial expertise in company law and corporate governance. Strong technical, drafting and communication skills are essential, together with the credibility to advise senior lawyers and lead an experienced team. Exposure to M&A and broader corporate transactional work would be advantageous, as would an interest in AI, innovation and legal technology.
