Interim Corporate / M&A Lawyer (3-Month Contract)
We're working with a leading global organisation seeking an experienced Corporate / M&A Lawyer to join its in-house legal team on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high volume of transactional work within a fast-paced, international business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, corporate development teams, and external advisers, leading transactions from inception through to completion.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading M&A transactions and acquisitions from initial structuring through to completion
- Supporting post-acquisition integration activities and wider corporate restructuring projects
- Managing transactions independently and driving matters forward with minimal supervision
- Partnering with corporate development teams and senior business stakeholders
- Coordinating multi-jurisdictional transaction workstreams and external counsel
- Advising on corporate governance matters across the business
- Supporting regulated M&A activities, including antitrust and competition-related considerations where required

About You
You will be a qualified lawyer with strong corporate and M&A experience, gained either in-house or in private practice.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Significant experience advising on corporate transactions and M&A matters
- A proven ability to manage deals independently from instruction to completion
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working closely with commercial and corporate development teams
- Exposure to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Experience with regulated M&A, competition, or antitrust matters (desirable)
- Experience within life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated sectors (advantageous but not essential)

Contract Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
- Working Pattern: Full-time
- Location: Flexible, with remote working available. Occasional attendance at the London office would be beneficial.
- IR35: Employed engagement models only
