We are looking for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join Mezzle as a Consultant Partner.
This is not a traditional employed role.
You will have the opportunity to develop and manage your own corporate practice while operating within an established, SRA-regulated law firm with the infrastructure, technology and support needed to run matters efficiently.
Your practice may include:
- M&A and corporate transactions
- Share sales and acquisitions
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- Shareholder agreements
- Joint ventures and investments
- Corporate governance
- Company formations and reorganisations
- General corporate advisory
- Strategic advice to founders, shareholders and management teams
You will retain control of your client relationships and practice while having Mezzle's infrastructure behind you.
Your Earning Potential
At Mezzle, your earning potential is directly connected to the practice you build.
- 70% fee share from day one, rising to 80%.
For example:
- £150,000 billings → £105,000 retained at 70%
As your billings increase and the applicable threshold is exceeded, your fee share can rise to 80%.
There is no traditional salary ceiling and no requirement to sacrifice your client relationships simply to access a strong law firm platform.
You build the practice. Mezzle provides the infrastructure.
Everything You Need Behind Your Practice
Running your own practice shouldn't mean doing everything yourself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are building a boutique, senior-led law firm where experienced lawyers have the freedom to build their practices without the hierarchy and politics of a traditional firm.
