An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join the Knowledge team of a highly regarded Top 50 UK law firm in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer looking to move into a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) role, using their technical expertise to support an established and successful national Corporate team. You'll play a key role in developing knowledge, training and best practice across the practice, while working alongside highly experienced corporate specialists.

The Role

As Corporate PSL, you'll support the continued development and success of the firm's national Corporate practice, using your experience and technical knowledge to improve the way the team delivers legal services.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting the Corporate team with technical and legal knowledge.
  • Monitoring and advising on legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Developing and delivering training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Creating, maintaining and sharing best practice resources and precedents.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the Corporate practice.
  • Supporting lawyers with technical queries and providing practical guidance.
  • Working closely with colleagues nationally to ensure knowledge and best practice are shared effectively.
  • Contributing to innovation, technology and the continued development of legal service delivery.
  • Helping to strengthen the firm's reputation and profile within the corporate market.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from experienced Corporate Lawyers who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 5 years' PQE.
  • A strong technical background in Corporate Law gained within a commercial law firm.
  • Significant experience across corporate transactions, ideally including M&A, private equity, IPOs and/or corporate restructuring.
  • Excellent technical and research skills with the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly.
  • A genuine interest in knowledge management, training and professional development.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with an enthusiasm for technology and improving legal service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with lawyers at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across a national team.
