Corporate Associate / Senior Associate – Equity Capital Markets
Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE
Permanent | Competitive Salary + Relocation Package
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading international law firm's Equity Capital Markets practice in the UAE. Advising issuers, investment banks, financial institutions and corporate clients, you will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions across the Middle East.
This role offers the opportunity to relocate to the UAE, with relocation support available for the successful candidate. It is ideally suited to lawyers with experience gained in both London and the Middle East who are looking to further their career within a market-leading international practice.
Role
- Advise on a broad range of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and other public equity issuances
- Act for issuers, underwriters, investment banks and corporate clients across the GCC
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and regulatory filings
- Manage transactions from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and international colleagues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region
- Support business development initiatives, client pitches and thought leadership
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers where appropriate

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with experience in Equity Capital Markets gained within a leading international or regional law firm
- Strong experience advising on IPOs and other equity capital markets transactions
- Experience of GCC capital markets and regional stock exchanges is highly desirable
- Experience gained in both London and the Middle East is preferred
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
- Commercially minded with strong client relationship management skills
- Able to manage matters independently and work effectively across international teams
