Do you want to work with high-profile clients, be involved in interesting and complex domestic and cross-border transactions and develop your career alongside leading corporate lawyers in a firm where every voice is heard?

The Team

Our large and diverse team is based across our Bristol, London and Edinburgh offices.

We advise on domestic and international public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and equity capital markets transactions. The team advises clients across multiple sectors, including Defence, Energy, Healthcare and Technology.

The majority of our work is international so we regularly work with clients and leading overseas law firms in our preferred firm network in numerous jurisdictions across the globe.

We are ranked Band 1 in Chambers & Partners Corporate M&A: Mid-Market, reflecting the strength of our team, depth of experience and quality of client base.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a number of very highly regarded and experienced Corporate M&A Partners and Directors.

What You'll Need

  • Broad experience of advising on private and/or public company mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and/or private equity transactions
  • Qualified as a lawyer with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to take ownership and lead on matters and contribute as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex matters clearly to clients
  • Experience of building strong relationships with clients and the wider corporate finance community
  • Ability to demonstrate good matter and financial management skills
  • Strong commerciality and excellent client communication skills
  • Experience of and interest in managing junior lawyers, including delegating work, providing guidance and contributing to their development
