Corporate New Business Manager

Salary: £35,500 - £37,500

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid, with travel across Kent, London and East Sussex

Closing date: 20th October

We have a great opportunity for a Corporate New Business Manager to join the fabulous team at Demelza, a well-respected children's charity that provides specialist care and support to children with serious or life-limiting conditions and their families. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity to develop and secure new corporate partnerships that will directly support the charity's ambitious growth plans and life-changing work.

As part of this exciting role, you will:

  • Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective supporters across the region
  • Research and engage businesses
  • Develop compelling partnership proposals and presentations
  • Create tailored opportunities that align corporate objectives with the charity's mission

Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, volunteering and service teams, you will help generate sustainable income through strategic partnerships, sponsorship, employee engagement opportunities, volunteering programmes and gifts in kind.

To be successful as the Corporate New Business Manager you will need:

  • Experience of identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, ideally within fundraising, partnerships, business development, sales or sponsorship.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience managing a prospect pipeline, working towards targets and delivering successful outcomes.
