Exciting Opportunity for a Corporate Partner to Join a Dynamic UK Law Firm

An outstanding opening for an established Corporate Partner to join a highly ambitious UK law firm as it continues to invest significantly in its London offering. The Corporate department is already well established and this is a growth hire to help elevate the practice to that next level.

This opportunity would really suit someone who wants a big firm feel but with more freedom, or perhaps somebody who knows they are capable of building considerably more than their present firm allows them to.

  • That might be because conflicts routinely get in the way, the current platform is too restrictive, decisions around pricing or clients are made elsewhere, or simply they have reached the point where they want greater ownership over the direction of their practice.
  • Equally, it will suit somebody coming from a substantial national or international firm who does not want to sacrifice quality, resources or ambition, but does want a more entrepreneurial environment in which Partners are trusted to get on with building their businesses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Their corporate lawyers advise across M&A, private equity, venture capital, investments, disposals, reorganisations and wider corporate advisory work, acting for clients ranging from entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses through to substantial corporates, investors and international organisations.

As a result, there is no prescribed client profile that a Partner is expected to fit. The team can accommodate both SMEs and larger clients.

The attraction is the flexibility of the platform - good clients and good work are valued without an artificial requirement to push a practice into a particular mould.

The firm is looking for a Partner who has a proven track record in winning work, and can demonstrate an ability to build and sustain a successful Corporate practice, with current annual billings likely to be in the region of £600,000–£700,000 as a minimum.

There is real momentum behind the Corporate practice and significant ambition for London. This is not a firm looking to stand still, nor is it looking for somebody simply to inherit a title. They want an excellent corporate lawyer with commercial instincts, established client relationships and the appetite to build something meaningful within a very well-resourced platform.

For the right Partner, there is considerable scope to grow both their practice and their earnings.

All approaches will be handled in absolute confidence. Please contact Sarah Beard for more information.
