An excellent opportunity has arisen for an established Corporate Partner to join a highly regarded national law firm as part of its continued strategic growth within the practice area. The firm is looking for a Partner to strengthen its London presence, bring an established client following and contribute to the ongoing expansion of its corporate offering.
This represents a high-quality platform for a Corporate Partner looking to build upon an existing practice, combining a strong national reputation with significant cross-referral opportunities, established sector expertise and a collaborative, full-service structure.

The firm combines the quality and sophistication of work typically associated with larger City practices with a commercially focused and collaborative approach.
With a strong national and international footprint, the firm advises clients across a broad range of sectors, with particular strengths across Financial Services, Future Energy, Digital, Real Estate, Retail & Consumer and Leisure. Its specialist sector approach allows lawyers to develop deep market knowledge while working closely with colleagues across the wider business.

The Corporate Team:
The Corporate team operates as a cohesive national practice, advising private, listed and corporate clients across a broad range of domestic and international transactions. The team has particular strength across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, strategic investments, joint ventures, group reorganisations and corporate governance, with a strong reputation for combining technical excellence with commercial and pragmatic advice.

The practice works closely with clients throughout their growth journey, from acquisitions and investments through to disposals, restructurings and wider strategic transactions. The team also benefits from strong relationships across the firm's wider practice areas, creating significant opportunities for collaboration and cross-referral.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Partner to join the growing Corporate team in the firm's London office, bringing an established practice and client following to help further strengthen and expand the team's presence in the market.
The successful candidate will take a leading role within the national Corporate practice, advising businesses, shareholders, investors and management teams across M&A, private equity, strategic investments, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations and related corporate matters.
There is also scope to develop a sector-led practice, leveraging the firm's established expertise and client relationships across areas including financial services, future energy, digital, real estate and consumer-facing businesses.
As a Partner, you will take ownership of your client relationships and practice, supported by an established national platform and strong referral network. You will play a key role in business development and the continued growth of the Corporate practice, both in London and nationally.

The opportunity would suit an established Corporate Partner with a strong network of clients and intermediaries, looking to build on their existing relationships while developing new connections through the firm's broader client base and national network. The collaborative structure also provides significant cross-referral opportunities with specialists across Banking & Finance, Real Estate, Employment, Commercial Litigation and other complementary practices.
Requirements:
- Corporate Partner (England & Wales) with a strong track record advising businesses, shareholders, investors and management teams on complex corporate transactions.
- An established and portable client following, with well-developed relationships across the corporate market.
- Strong experience across M&A, private equity, strategic investments, joint ventures or related corporate transactions.
- Strong client origination and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to develop and grow a successful practice.
- Proven leadership capability with experience building and developing teams, alongside the ambition to establish and grow the firm's London Corporate offering as part of a wider national practice.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Corporate Partner to play a key role in the continued development of the firm's London Corporate practice. Working closely with fellow Partners across the UK and specialists across the wider business, you will be well positioned to develop your own practice whilst leveraging the firm's existing client relationships, sector expertise, cross-referral opportunities and strong market reputation.
