Corporate Partner – London – £200,000+ + Bonus
A highly regarded Legal 500 commercial law firm with a strong reputation in the London market is looking for a Corporate Partner to join its established Corporate team. The firm advises an impressive UK and international client base across a broad range of sectors, handling sophisticated mid-market and upper mid-market transactions alongside larger strategic deals.
This Corporate Partner role in London offers a genuine opportunity for an established Corporate lawyer to take a leading role within the practice, with significant scope to develop new relationships, open up additional workstreams and contribute to the firm's continued growth. Working alongside experienced Partners across Corporate and Real Estate, you will benefit from a strong platform and opportunities for meaningful cross-referral, while having the freedom to build your own profile in the London market.
The Role:
- Lead on a broad range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, investments and restructurings
- Advise businesses, investors and shareholders on complex and strategic transactions
- Develop new client relationships and establish additional sources of corporate work in the London market
- Work closely with Partners across Corporate and Real Estate to identify and maximise cross-referral opportunities
- Take a leading role in the development and strategic direction of the Corporate practice
- Build on existing client relationships while creating new networks and referral channels
- Support and develop junior lawyers within an established and collaborative Corporate team
- Play an active role in the firm's wider business development and growth strategy

The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in corporate transactional law
- Currently operating at Partner level with a strong track record of business generation
- Proven experience handling mid-market transactions typically ranging from £5m to £50m+, with exposure to larger deals advantageous
- Established network of clients, intermediaries and professional contacts within the market
- Strong track record of winning new work and developing sustainable client relationships
- Commercially minded with excellent technical and strategic advisory skills
- Entrepreneurial and proactive, with the confidence to get out into the market and develop new opportunities
- Collaborative leader with the ambition to play a key role in continued growth
