Corporate Partner – Birmingham – Up to £180,000 + Bonus

A leading national Legal 500 law firm with an outstanding reputation is looking for a Corporate Partner to join its highly regarded Birmingham office. You will advise an exceptional client base, including household names, international businesses, and private equity investors, on a broad range of high-value corporate transactions while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm's Corporate practice.

This Corporate Partner role in Birmingham offers the opportunity to join a nationally recognised team handling complex, market-leading work across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, banking, governance, and corporate restructuring. With genuine autonomy, strong internal support, and a collaborative leadership team, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Corporate Partner in Birmingham looking to build their practice within an ambitious national platform.

The Role:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and restructures
  • Lead complex, high-value matters for UK and international businesses across multiple sectors
  • Support clients on corporate governance, private equity, and strategic business transactions
  • Build and develop long-term client relationships while delivering commercially focused advice
  • Work closely with colleagues across Banking, Commercial, Employment, and Real Estate teams
  • Lead business development initiatives and contribute to the continued practice growth
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers within a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Play a key role in the strategic direction and future growth of the Birmingham Corporate team

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in corporate transactional law
  • Currently operating at Partner level or an ambitious Legal Director seeking Partnership
  • Strong background advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate transactions
  • Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Commercially minded with excellent technical and strategic advisory skills
  • Collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring and developing junior lawyers
  • Entrepreneurial approach with the ambition to help grow a successful Corporate practice
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service within a national Legal 500 firm
