Help a growing Birmingham CIC build meaningful corporate partnerships that create opportunities for young people and communities.

Use your business development expertise to connect us with employers, sponsors, and strategic partners and help turn relationships into lasting social impact.

What difference will you make?

Strong corporate partnerships could significantly increase what Integrate Hope is able to offer our communities.

Your expertise will help us build relationships with businesses that can provide much more than financial support. These partnerships could create mentoring, employability, and workplace opportunities for young people, provide professional expertise to strengthen our organisation, support community programmes through sponsorship and in-kind contributions, and connect us with networks we may otherwise struggle to access as a small grassroots CIC.

You will also help us become more strategic in how we approach businesses, moving away from one-off requests towards partnerships where both Integrate Hope and our corporate partners understand the value they can create together.

Ultimately, your contribution could open doors for young people and communities who do not always have access to professional networks and opportunities, while helping Integrate Hope build the relationships and resources needed to grow sustainably.

This is an opportunity to use your commercial experience and professional network to create tangible social impact and help shape an important part of Integrate Hope's future.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced, confident relationship-builder who understands how successful partnerships between businesses and community organisations are developed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Ideally, you will have professional experience in corporate partnerships, business development, CSR/ESG, Social Value, sponsorship, account management, or stakeholder engagement.

We would particularly value experience of:

  • Developing and managing corporate or strategic partnerships
  • Identifying and approaching prospective business partners
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Developing partnership, sponsorship, or Social Value propositions
  • Turning initial conversations into longer-term relationships
  • Negotiating mutually beneficial partnership opportunities
  • Working with CSR, ESG, Social Value, or community investment teams
  • Creating opportunities involving employee volunteering, mentoring, employability, or skills development

Existing corporate networks would be valuable, particularly across Birmingham and the West Midlands, although they are not essential.

The most important qualities are confidence, strong communication and relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to see opportunities and turn ideas into action.

We are looking for someone proactive who will bring their own ideas and expertise. You will work collaboratively with our Founder/CEO and have genuine scope to influence Integrate Hope's corporate partnership strategy as we grow.

Working closely with our Founder/CEO, you will help us:

  • Identify businesses and organisations whose values align with our work
  • Develop a targeted corporate partnership pipeline
  • Shape compelling partnership and sponsorship propositions
  • Support introductions and outreach to prospective partners
  • Help build relationships with CSR, ESG, Social Value, and community investment teams
  • Explore corporate sponsorship and in-kind support for our programmes
  • Develop opportunities for young people, including mentoring, employability experiences, workplace insight days, and skills development
  • Identify opportunities for employee volunteering and professional expertise
  • Help turn initial conversations into sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships

We are particularly interested in moving beyond one-off donations. We want to develop partnerships where businesses can use their resources, expertise, and networks to create genuine opportunities for the communities we work alongside.

We already have relationships across community, education, and voluntary-sector networks and are beginning conversations with larger organisations. We now need someone with commercial and corporate partnership expertise who can help us strengthen our proposition, open new doors, and develop these relationships strategically.

This is a flexible role, approximately 2–3 hours per week, predominantly remote. We are looking for someone who can bring ideas, connections, and strategic thinking rather than simply carry out administrative outreach.
