What could you achieve when two organisations with a shared purpose come together?

As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day development and delivery of our partnership with The FA.

This is a high-profile, high-value partnership. You’ll work across both organisations to build trusted relationships, bring people together and turn ideas into action.

The aim? To deliver income, impact and value for everyone involved.

Could you take an ambitious idea and turn it into something that works in practice? You’ll bring commercial thinking, project management and a clear external focus to a partnership that reaches audiences across the country.

You’ll work with colleagues across Alzheimer’s Society and The FA. This will include operational teams, as well as senior and executive stakeholders.

You’ll be based at The FA’s Head Office at Wembley Stadium at least one day a week. You’ll also have regular opportunities to meet partners and colleagues face to face across the UK.

Location: This role is contracted as hybrid. You will spend time working from home, at our London office and attending the FA office in Wembley Stadium at least one day a week. You will be regularly meeting partners and stakeholders in person. Occasional UK travel should be expected.

Contract: This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave

Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place on the week commencing the 12th October via MS Teams.

What you’ll do

You will take ownership of the partnership’s strategy, relationships and delivery, ensuring it continues to grow in value, profile and impact.

  • Lead and deliver the partnership plan, objectives, KPIs and measures of success. How will you make sure the partnership continues to grow while delivering what’s already been promised?
  • Identify opportunities to grow the partnership through income, campaigns, events, employee engagement, advocacy, audience reach and in-kind support. Where could you spot an opportunity that others might not have seen?
  • Build trusted relationships across The FA and Alzheimer’s Society. Become a credible and solutions-focused point of contact. How will you bring different people and priorities together around a shared goal?
  • Turn ideas into clear plans. Coordinate multiple teams, deadlines, dependencies and risks. When there are lots of moving parts, how will you keep everything moving in the right direction?
  • Lead high-profile events, campaigns, communications and other partnership activity.
  • Use insight, feedback and performance data to understand what’s working and shape next steps. What could the data tell you about where the partnership should go next?
  • Manage partnership income, budgets and KPIs. Provide accurate forecasts and recommendations.
  • Create compelling proposals, presentations and impact reports that bring the partnership to life. Can you turn an idea or opportunity into a story that gets people behind it?
  • Work with specialist teams on contractual, data, brand and compliance requirements.
  • Share learning across Corporate Partnerships and contribute to our wider approach to purpose-driven partnerships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Could you help turn the reach and influence of football into meaningful action for people affected by dementia? This role gives you the opportunity to help shape what that looks like.

About you

We are looking for a commercially minded partnership professional who combines excellent relationship management with disciplined delivery. You may have developed your experience in the charity, sport, public or private sectors.

You’ll bring:

  • Strategic project and partnership management skills, with the ability to manage complex activity, multiple workstreams, deadlines, risks, budgets and KPIs. You’ll also keep sight of the bigger picture.
  • Influencing and relationship management skills, with the confidence to build trust, navigate different perspectives and work credibly with senior and executive stakeholders. Can you build relationships that help people see what’s possible, even when priorities differ?
  • Experience of strategic partnership growth, with the ability to spot opportunities and connect partner priorities with purpose. You’ll understand how this can create income, impact, reach and shared value.
  • The ability to work effectively across organisations and teams. You’ll bring people together around shared goals and keep activity moving when priorities, perspectives and dependencies differ.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach. You’ll be comfortable challenging constructively, navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions.
  • Clear and compelling written and verbal communication skills. You’ll be able to create proposals, presentations, reports and briefings for different audiences.
  • Financial and organisational skills, including managing budgets, forecasting, tracking KPIs and using CRM systems.
  • A genuine interest in business, corporate partnerships and creating meaningful change for people affected by dementia.

What could you bring to a partnership with the reach of The FA? You might already have experience in corporate partnerships. Or you may have built your career managing complex projects, relationships or commercial opportunities in another setting.

Knowledge or an interest in football would be welcome, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, spot opportunities and create strategic partnerships that deliver meaningful results.

Could this be the opportunity to use your partnership skills to create change that reaches millions of people? If you’re excited by the potential of this partnership and share our commitment to making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

We need to ensure the voices around our table better reflect and understand the communities we exist to serve. We strongly encourage individuals to apply who have a disability, impairment or health condition or individuals who identify as Black, Asian or from another minority ethnic background, as these groups are currently under-represented at Alzheimer's Society.

To ensure fairness and consistency to select the best candidate for this role, all our applications are anonymised up until an interview has been confirmed. We recognise the benefits of AI, but if you're considering using it to submit your application, we encourage you to reflect on the value it truly adds. AI tools often lack the personal touch and authenticity that set candidates apart. We want to hear your unique perspective, experiences, and skills, so we encourage you to showcase them in your own voice.

We try to avoid closing roles early where possible, however if we receive a high volume of applications, we may close earlier than the advertised closing date. Should this occur, we will aim to provide you with at least 48 hours' notice.

We are committed to safer recruitment and ensuring the welfare of those we work with, due to the nature of some of our roles, we might need to carry out a Criminal Record Check at the relevant level. You can read more information via our Website.
