Corporate PE/M&A Associate (2-5PQE) | Elite US Law Firm | London

I am currently working with an elite US law firm that is looking to hire a talented Corporate Associate (2-5PQE) into its market-leading Private Equity and M&A team in London.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most prestigious corporate practices in the market, acting on high-value, cross-border transactions for leading private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and strategic corporates.

The team is consistently involved in some of the most sophisticated deals across the UK and Europe and offers associates exceptional levels of client exposure, responsibility and hands-on transactional experience from an early stage.

The Role

Working closely with highly regarded partners and senior lawyers, you will advise on a broad range of matters, including:

  • Sponsor-side private equity transactions
  • UK and international M&A deals
  • Buyouts and growth investments
  • Portfolio company acquisitions and disposals
  • Joint ventures and strategic investments
  • General corporate advisory matters

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
