Quality Assurance Officer
📍 Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | GMP Environment | Permanent | Stoke-on-Trent
Are you a Quality Assurance professional with GMP experience looking to take the next step in your career?
We're recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a growing quality team supporting the manufacture, testing, and release of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong QA background who enjoys maintaining compliance, driving quality improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and GMP compliance activities
- Assist with deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality investigations
- Review and maintain GMP documentation, SOPs, and quality records
- Support validation and qualification activities
- Participate in internal audits and support regulatory inspections
- Work closely with Production, QC, and other departments to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principles and Quality Management Systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience
- Sterile manufacturing or injectable products
- Validation and qualification activities
- Internal auditing
- QC or Production experience within pharmaceuticals
This role would suit a proactive, quality-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced regulated environment and wants to make a meaningful contribution to product quality and patient safety.
