Corporate Reception Team Leader

Monday – Friday, £38,000 plus benefits.

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Reception Services Supervisor to lead a front-of-house team within a prestigious corporate environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional workplace and visitor experiences, ensuring high service standards, and providing leadership, coaching, and operational support to a team of reception professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the reception team to deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and rota coverage to meet operational requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, visitors, and stakeholders, responding proactively to requests and resolving issues effectively.
  • Manage customer queries and complaints through to resolution, implementing improvements where required.
  • Maintain compliance with security, health & safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Continuously review and improve processes, ensuring procedures remain effective and up to date.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and high-performing team culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular performance reviews and feedback.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning activities.
  • Recognise and reward outstanding performance while addressing conduct or performance concerns when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within reception, hospitality, workplace services, or a customer-facing environment from a quality setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions in challenging situations.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving service excellence.
