As the welcoming face of the business, you will create exceptional first impressions and build instant rapport with everyone who walks through the door. This is a standing role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, staying active, and thriving in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You’ll be part of a professional and passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences for guests, clients, and colleagues alike.
Type of contract: Full-time - This position is being offered as maternity cover on the client site. When the current postholder return, the successful candidate will be supported in securing an alternative role within Rapport or transferred to the Network Team. Should a permanent vacancy become available during at the end of the maternity cover period, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent.
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM and 6 PM)

Main Responsibilities
- Providing office, reception, and floor management cover to several locations across Canary Wharf.
- Welcoming, meeting, greeting, and registering guests at the main reception.
- Proactively dealing with guest requests in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, ensuring all business requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Handling all external and internal calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting of all facility-related issues, including health and safety, and following company service and H&S standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will

- Ideally, have previous experience in front-of-house within a luxury hotel, premium airlines, or a corporate business environment.
- Have passion to deliver excellent guest service in everything that they do.
- Be adaptable and flexible, creative and proactive, organised and detail-oriented, process-driven, and resourceful with a can-do attitude.
- Have excellent time management and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have an outgoing personality and be able to easily build rapport with key stakeholders (internal, external and VIPs).
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
- Display excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
