We are looking for a warm, professional, and people-focused Corporate Receptionist to join the Rapport family at our client’s stunning offices in the heart of Glasgow.

You will be part of a close-knit on-site team of 4, supported by a wider network of 29 receptionists across the UK who share knowledge and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Client is an American multinational investment management and financial services company, and you will play a crucial role in providing the highest level of service and care to the client, its customers, guests, and service partners in line with service level agreements and set policies and procedures.

Type of contract

  • Full-time, 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Hours

  • 40 per week (Monday-Friday, shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM)

Employment will be subject to a successful vetting outcome which includes a requirement of proof of a UK address for the last 6 years.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver a seamless and welcoming experience for all clients, guests, and colleagues, ensuring every interaction reflects Rapport’s high service standards.
  • Confidently manage reception duties, including handling enquiries in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the building and facilities to provide accurate information and assistance to visitors.
  • Coordinate and support the smooth delivery of on-site events and client activities.
  • Take pride in the presentation and upkeep of reception areas, ensuring they always reflect a professional and inviting environment.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across the business to uphold a cohesive, “one team” approach to service delivery.
  • Oversee key administrative tasks such as meeting room and travel bookings, invoice processing, and gift arrangements.
  • Provide a welcoming and well-organised induction experience for new starters, supporting them on their first day.

The ideal candidate will

  • Have an outgoing personality and be able to easily build rapport with key stakeholders (internal, external and VIPs).
  • Be a customer-focused team player who is recognised as patient, friendly, reliable, flexible and takes pride in what they do.
  • Embrace change, lead by example, and empower others through a consistently positive approach.
  • Have a desire to be part of a winning team, where you can truly make a difference.
  • Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Display excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally, have at least one year of experience in customer service corporate, five-star luxury hotel environment, or premium airlines.
