Join the Close Brothers Invoice Finance (CBIF) team where you will secure new business for the company with transaction sizes ranging from £3M-65M within the Southern England region.

Working as part of the Corporate Sales team, our ideal new team member will have previous experience in achieving sales targets and developing effective working relationships with third-party deal sources including brokers/intermediaries, corporate finance, debt advisory and private equity acquisition channels with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a field based role, where you will spend a lot of time on the road meeting brokers and customers. The territory for this position is South England and the successful candidate must be based on-patch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop CBIF’s relationships with a range of external deal sources including brokers/intermediaries, corporate finance, debt advisory and private equity acquisition channels, ensuring a constant route to market and a consistent flow of new business
  • Attend business development or social functions to the benefit of the Close Brothers Invoice Finance
  • Provide support to national marketing campaigns
  • Complete transactions from debt sizes of £3m - £65m utilising CBIF product range of Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Plant & Machinery, Property and Cash-Flow, and where applicable, utilisation of government support scheme CBILs, CLBILS and RLS
  • Lead corporate and ABL transactions generated by CBG in-house marketing channels within agreed patch/postcodes
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • A highly experienced IF/ABL professional with an existing network of broker, corporate finance and debt advisory relationships and a recent track record of success
  • A proven ability to analyse financial information and effectively structure large and complex transactions
  • Strong numeric, organisational and credit analysis skills, and an ability to write concise and articulate credit proposals
  • Self-motivated and target driven
  • Highly organised, accessible and responsive to internal and external stakeholders
  • Team orientated to contribute to wider team strategy and objectives
  • A valid driver’s licence
