đź“… Full-time
Help us build a ÂŁ1m+ corporate events business.
Big Belly is an award-winning independent comedy, entertainment and events venue on London’s Southbank.
Following a major expansion of the venue, we're looking for an ambitious Corporate Sales & Events Manager to take ownership of and significantly grow our corporate, private hire and business events division.
This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a diary and process incoming enquiries.
We want someone who can sell.
You'll convert the inbound opportunities already coming into the business, but you'll also be expected to proactively develop new corporate accounts, build relationships, open doors and create a serious pipeline of new business.
For the right person, there's an opportunity to help build this into a £1m+ annual corporate events business — and our uncapped commission structure is designed to reward you as it grows.
WHAT YOU'LL BE SELLING
Big Belly is a flexible multi-room venue capable of hosting everything from a ÂŁ300 team drinks booking through to major corporate events for 450+ guests.
Our corporate offering includes:
- Christmas & summer parties
- Team socials and work nights out
- Private venue and room hire
- Private comedy shows
- Drinks receptions & networking events
- Awards and company celebrations
- Karaoke and entertainment packages
- Food & drink packages
- DJs, AV and bespoke entertainment
- Daytime meetings and events

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We're independent, which means you won't be restricted to selling from a rigid corporate brochure. We want someone who can listen to what clients need and work with us to create packages that sell.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
You'll be responsible for the corporate sales journey from prospecting and initial enquiry through to confirmed booking and repeat business.
That includes:
- Converting inbound corporate and private-hire enquiries
- Proactively prospecting new corporate clients
- Building relationships with EAs, PAs, Office Managers, HR and People teams
- Developing relationships with event agencies and professional bookers
- Conducting venue tours and client meetings
- Creating proposals and commercial packages
- Negotiating and closing bookings
- Growing existing accounts and securing repeat business
- Increasing average booking values through relevant upselling
- Maintaining a strong CRM and qualified future pipeline
- Reporting on pipeline, conversion and confirmed revenue
- Working closely with operations to ensure what we sell can be delivered brilliantly
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're particularly interested in people with a proven sales background across:
- Venues
- Hospitality
- Hotels
- Corporate events
- Competitive socialising
- Experiential events
- Event agencies
- Corporate entertainment
- Private hire
You should be commercially minded, comfortable prospecting and confident closing significant bookings.
You'll ideally have an existing understanding of the London corporate events market and how EAs, workplace teams, event planners and agencies buy events.

An established London corporate network would be a major advantage.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, proactive and genuinely motivated by building revenue.
THE PACKAGE
£40,000–£45,000 basic salary depending on experience and track record.
Plus a genuinely performance-led uncapped commission structure.
Our aim is to create a package where your earnings grow materially alongside the business you build.
ÂŁ70,000 OTE
ÂŁ80,000+ high-performer potential
Uncapped beyond this
If you can help us build a ÂŁ1m+ corporate events division, we want you to share meaningfully in that success.
WHY BIG BELLY?
We're not a large hotel group or corporate venue operator.
We're independent, ambitious and able to move quickly.
Big Belly brings together comedy, bars, food, DJs, karaoke, private spaces and live entertainment in one Southbank venue.
You'll have the autonomy to shape our corporate proposition, develop new packages, build relationships and have a genuine impact on how this side of the business develops.
For someone who wants ownership rather than simply another sales job, there's a significant opportunity here.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us your CV along with a short introduction explaining your experience in corporate/event sales and the kind of revenue or accounts you've previously been responsible for.
Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, with interviews beginning immediately.
Initial application deadline: Sunday 20 September 2026.
We may close applications early if we find the right person.
